TESTIMONIALS

“Apart from benefiting multiple programs, like soccer, band, football, and track, it puts a monument on the community's growing support for our school. Having a stadium near our campus is practical for nearly all our sports. East-West Stadium is also fairly dilapidated and continues to decline in quality.”

“I believe we need our own stadium because one of the biggest team rivalries in the state shouldn't have to share a field. Getting a stadium would benefit all our sports teams by giving us easier access to facilities.”

"I think East Fairmont High School needs a stadium complex for our kids so that we can maximize time, not have to travel and work around schedules and make things more convenient for our student-athletes, like being able to exercise and perform right there at the building. Also, I think it would bring a pride factor back for our community and students because there would be something else to rally around with the school. A stadium complex at East Fairmont High School will also help with the community as far as involvement goes because then you HAVE something and have ownership. Right now, EFHS shares a stadium, and part of the problem is that we have to hang poster and set up before a ball game. Then everything has to be taken down because Friday Fairmont Senior gets to set up, so it makes it kind of ruff. Also, most of the locker rooms, weight rooms and facilities at East-West Stadium, even though we share the stadium, are not really accessible by our student-athletes. If we have our own stadium complex, our student-athletes will take pride in being able to access training rooms, weight rooms and having that in a central location."
